Ann + George Hartley

Hartley Restaurant Group, known for its culinary excellence and commitment to bringing diverse flavors to the 30A area, is thrilled to introduce its latest venture, Village Market at Watersound® Town Center. Owned by local entrepreneurs, George and Ann Hartley, this fresh dining establishment opened its doors in October 13, 2023.

George and Ann have been serving the 30A community for over 25 years, and now they're bringing all your favorite dishes to one spot with Village Market at Watersound® Town Center. This new spot features cherished classics from their entire collection of Hartley Restaurants, along with gems discovered during their global travels. Village Market at Watersound® Town Center is poised to become a destination where you can savor the flavors that have delighted 30A residents and visitors alike for a quarter of a century. Their extensive travels have led them to discover unique dishes and flavors from all over the world.

Village Market at Watersound® Town Center is the sister restaurant to Seagrove Village Market Café and Surfing Deer, two other beloved establishments under the Hartley Restaurant Group umbrella. The Hartleys have also made their mark with other iconic ventures in the 30A area, including George’s at Alys Beach and La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar.

On the menu, diners can expect a dining journey that includes signature dishes such as the San Miguel Bowl, created from the Hartleys' travels to Mexico; Hot Tangy Fish on Asian Slaw, a dish inspired by Ann’s travels to spa weekends with her girlfriends in Texas; and the Fried Shrimp Po Boy, a sandwich so fresh and good, it’s why the Hartleys bought the Seagrove Village Market. Similar to their historic sister restaurant, Seagrove Village Market Cafe, the menu will offer deep-fried love, in addition to other famous dishes compiled from several of the family’s past concepts.

Village Market at Watersound® Town Center is located at 86 N Watersound Parkway, at Watersound® on Highway 98. The expansive 5,800-square-foot, standalone building features 268 seats, including a beautiful wrap-around porch, and an outdoor patio area. The restaurant is open six days a week, offering both lunch and dinner options, as well as a robust wine menu and full bar. In addition to the full-service restaurant experience, there is a dedicated take away market offering convenient grab-and-go items—feed the fam y'all. The take away items will vary from ready-made dips, salads, classic sides and desserts—to family-style take + bake dinners to be cooked at home.
